2. Scope of Services
GenomeTails provides independent pet genetics advisory services, including:
Genetic test selection and interpretation
Breeding strategy guidance
Breed-specific genetic health reports and case studies
Educational events and consultations
Important: GenomeTails does not provide veterinary care, medical diagnoses, or emergency services. Our guidance is advisory and intended to support informed decisions.
3. Pricing and Payment
All services are quoted individually.
No charges are applied until the client approves the quote.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer.
Payment is due as agreed in the quote.
Refunds and cancellations:
Cancellations for online consultations must be requested at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a 50% fee.
For consultations and project work, charges will apply based on the work completed prior to cancellation, unless otherwise stated in the quote.
Refunds for prepaid services will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
4. Contract Formation
A service agreement is considered binding once the client:
Submits the inquiry form or requests a service, and
Approves the quote provided by GenomeTails, either in writing (e.g., email) or verbally.
5. Liability
GenomeTails provides advice based on the information and genetic data provided by clients.
We are not liable for decisions made based on our guidance, or for indirect or consequential damages.
Clients are responsible for verifying all actions and decisions taken based on our advice.
6. Intellectual Property
All reports, presentations, and materials created by GenomeTails remain our intellectual property.
Clients may use materials for personal or professional purposes within the agreed scope, but may not reproduce, distribute, or share content without explicit permission.
7. Personal Data
Personal data provided by the Client will be processed in accordance with the GenomeTails Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.
Data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Information will not be shared with third parties except as required to provide the agreed services or by law.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Finnish law applies to all agreements between clients and GenomeTails.
Any disputes shall first be attempted to resolve through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to the competent Finnish courts.
9. Updates to Terms
GenomeTails reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Clients will be informed of significant changes via email or on the website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
